Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed and always on the go in this fast-paced world we live in?
Craving to slow down and wanting to prioritise self-care, but don’t feel like you can?
Thoughts of guilt, laziness, that there is too much to do to be able to rest?
You know that you will benefit from some rest and you know that you need it, but you can’t.
Because you won’t allow yourself.
You just won’t give yourself permission to.
And that is the key…
It can feel difficult to give ourselves permission to pause, even when it really matters.
Especially when it really matters!
Often it is when we need it the most that we feel the most pressure, and that we ‘can’t’.
We ‘just’ need to keep going.
We ‘just’ need to finish this project/assignment/piece of work.
We ‘just’ need to do ‘xxx’ for ‘yyy’
We ‘just’ need to get to next week/month/year
We ‘just’ need to push on through.
Never mind what your body needs and is screaming out for – which you would have to acknowledge if you gave it some attention!
But it doesn’t have to feel difficult. To say yes to you.
This is why I’ve put together this online workshop to help you explore, understand and shift toward granting yourself permission to make the changes you desire.
Let me share a story of Lily:
Lily was a vibrant and ambitious woman. She was the epitome of productivity, always on the go, and constantly juggling multiple responsibilities. Lily believed that slowing down was a sign of weakness and that she had to keep pushing herself to achieve her goals.
As the days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Lily’s life became a whirlwind of stress and exhaustion. She found herself burning out, both physically and mentally. Her health started to decline, and she struggled to find joy in the things she once loved. But still, she couldn’t bring herself to give herself permission to slow down.
One day, while rushing to a big presentation, Lily collapsed from sheer exhaustion. It was a wake-up call she couldn’t ignore. As she lay in the hospital bed, she realised that her refusal to slow down had led her to this point of complete burnout.
During her recovery, Lily had an opportunity to reflect on her choices and the toll it had taken on her well-being. She realised that she had been neglecting her own needs and that productivity without self-care was unsustainable.
Determined to make a change, Lily started to give herself permission to slow down. She began incorporating small moments of rest and self-care into her daily routine and soon realised that as she gave time for herself, she had more energy for the other areas of her life and in fact was able to do more and give more without feeling like she was on the verge of another burnout.
Do you relate?
I could tell you stories of many many people I know, just like Lily. And I get it – I too used to struggle to allow myself to get my own needs met.
We naturally want to people please and it’s in our nature to soldier on and put others first. But when this is to the detriment of our own health and wellbeing, things need to change.
And YOU are the one that has the key to that change. All in the form of giving yourself permission.
And the magic is – when you do give yourself what you need, you will find that there is room for so much more.
In this 2 hour workshop you are going to uncover your underlying beliefs and finally gift yourself the permission to slow down and find a pace that suits you better.
When we give ourselves permission to slow down, a beautiful transformation begins to unfold. Here are some of the positive changes you might experience when you implement some of the learning from this workshop:
Slowing down allows the mind to settle, creating space for clarity and perspective. As a result you may gain a deeper understanding of your goals, values, and priorities enabling you to evaluate your life from a more balanced standpoint and make more aligned decisions.
By giving yourself permission to slow down you invite a greater sense of well-being into your life. You may experience reduced stress levels, improved sleep patterns, and a boost in overall mental and physical health. Taking time for self-care and relaxation rejuvenates and restores energy.
Slowing down nurtures the fertile ground for creativity to flourish. When the mind is not constantly racing, new ideas and innovations can emerge. Engaging in activities like mindfulness or simply allowing space for idle reflection can unlock a wellspring of inspiration and fresh perspectives.
By slowing down, you can strengthen your connections with yourself as well as others. You become more present and attentive in your relationships, fostering deeper connections and more meaningful interactions.

If we take regular times to pause and rest we actually become more efficient and can get more done.
Let me liken it to you being a watering can…
When you are permanently watering the plants (constantly giving and doing for everyone else) at some point you will run out of water (energy) and you will need to stop for some time, to be able to fill back up with water so you can start again.
If, however, you take regular short pauses to keep yourself topped up, you can continue to water all the plants in your garden (giving energy to the other areas of your life).
Rather than the imbalance of everything and then nothing, the pause is barely noticeable and there is an even, steady stream of water you can pour.
Often in our very busy lives we ignore the low levels and keep on ‘pouring’, even when there is nothing left to give.
We may have many unhelpful thoughts-
‘I can’t afford to slow down’,
‘it is wrong to rest’,
‘I have too much to do’,
‘I am lazy/feel guilty if I sit and do nothing’.
But now you see that by taking a moment here and there, to look at your own needs, you will end up being able to do more.
There are three fabulous options for you to choose from…

About Zoe Knight
Hi, I’m Zoe, an embodiment coach who has helped hundreds of people to adjust their habits and ways of thinking to shift to a pace of life that suits them better, avoiding overwhelm and burnout.
I am committed to simplifying our daily problems by following a ‘less is more’ approach. Less thinking, less worry, less technology and bringing us back to the present moment to enjoy the magic that life has to offer in the ‘here and now’. Having spent 20 years dedicating my life working in the animal welfare and conservation charity sector, it has affirmed and embedded my belief that connecting with nature and returning to a simpler way of living is what creates a more peaceful and balanced life.
I now bring this to my clients through educating them about their body’s autonomic response to its environment, re-connecting them to the wisdom within their bodies and allowing that to inform and guide the way forward to sustained change. Through workshops, 1 to 1 and group coaching I show you the peace that comes with coming back to the present moment and in harmony with the best living tool you always have access to – you!
